Wait until lower mold cooling‑water pipeline and mold body cool down to ambient temperature to prevent scald injury. Drain residual cooling water inside mold channels, blow pipeline inner residue clean with compressed air, then disconnect cooling‑water quick‑connect joints. Prepare hoisting tools, protective cushion blocks and torque tools in advance. Clear surrounding workspace to guarantee enough operating space for hoisting movement.
Access lower‑mold mounting bolts, loosen each bolt gradually following reverse cross‑diagonal sequence. Do not fully take out all bolts at one time, keep partial bolts temporarily installed to support mold weight and prevent sudden slipping.
