Beyond standard off‑the‑shelf models, AIRAYS (Wenzhou Rayshape Machinery Co., Ltd.) has developed and delivered multiple non‑standard custom thermoformers built upon the proven RS‑750 platform: RS‑750‑700‑3, RS‑750‑650‑4 and RS‑750‑600‑3.

In the thermoforming packaging industry, customers differ greatly in mould dimensions, product footprint, station quantity and raw‑material formulations. Standard‑size machines cannot always perfectly match real‑world production conditions for every project.

All custom models inherit the mature core architecture of the RS‑750 platform: full‑servo drive system, independent zoned heating with ±1℃ precise temperature control, upper‑lower four‑stage heating furnaces, in‑mold cutting, automatic stacking and edge‑scrap rewinding. They natively support PP, PET, PS, PLA and high‑content r‑PET / r‑PP recycled sheets. Customisation focuses on forming area dimension, station configuration, mould opening‑closing stroke, punching‑station setup and output mechanism, without redesigning the whole machine.

Model introduction for delivered custom versions

1. RS‑750‑700‑3 (3‑station)
Custom‑widened forming area for large‑size fresh‑food containers and supermarket inner trays. It allows more cavities per mould cycle to boost output. This 3‑station layout covers forming, cutting and stacking, for products that do not require independent punching stations.
2. RS‑750‑650‑4 (4‑station)
Four‑station custom variant with full workflow including forming, punching, cutting and stacking. Optimised forming zone dimension for egg trays, perforated fruit & vegetable trays requiring vent‑hole punching. It runs steadily with PLA biodegradable sheets and high‑fraction recycled plastic materials.
3. RS‑750‑600‑3 (3‑station)
Custom‑reduced forming width for customers with existing smaller‑size moulds. It helps reuse customer’s current mould tooling while controlling capital investment. Suitable for MAP sealing boxes, medium‑small fresh‑food containers and food inner trays.

All these custom machines are modified on the validated RS‑750 base platform instead of fully new development. This approach mitigates reliability risks, keeps spare‑part interchangeability and simplifies global after‑sales support.

Current market shifts push many converters toward fresh‑produce trays, modified‑atmosphere packaging and cold‑chain food packaging. More factories need equipment compatible with biodegradable PLA and recycled resins. Many customers own legacy moulds that cannot fit standard machine dimensions, making controlled customisation a critical capability for equipment suppliers.

Note: Customisation is implemented within mechanical boundaries of RS‑750 platform to secure long‑term operational stability. Unlimited arbitrary modification is not supported.
